Malaysia has well-managed the pace of development from the past few rounds of recession since the day of independence; but what is the impact to Malaysian from the latest financial crisis? Where are the opportunities that the current graduates shall be looking for and heading to?

Since the colonization of Britain, Malaysia was spotted for its abundant natural resources. It was developed from a mineral rich country where tin was massively produced. Later, after the impact of the 70's economy downturn, the country began to recover by relying on plantation as the tropical climate was suitable for rubber, oil palm and so on. From then on, Malaysia turned into a remarkable plantation country as one of the top producer of rubber and palm oil countries in the world.

After the 80's economy recession, the country began to go into industrialization. Port Klang and Penang free trade zone were developed and drawn in a lot of overseas investors to Malaysia. It had brought great development to the country, and the development of the local small and medium industries ensued. Malaysia then became one of the important hubs of outsourcing in the world. During that time, a lot of Malaysian entrepreneurs emerged, created plenty of working opportunities for the local graduates. Tertiary education was a pre-requisite for most entry level jobs. Pay for the graduates at that time were considered relatively high as compared to the basic expenses of living. Malaysia, initially with only a few local universities, now have more than hundred of private universities and colleges.

A lot of graduates have been produced since the 80’s during industrialization; the pay was good. But now, their income does not correspond with the current economy situation, while inflation has been soaring and graduates today are merely making ends meet with a bachelor degree. Why is the situation becoming worse since the country is aiming to become a developed nation by 2020?

Requirements:-
  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management/ Marketing/ Banking/ Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience with strong focus in business loans or mortgage loans.
